Sol 5: All Mapped Out

 I finished mounting the Mars map today. 

After applying gesso to all the edges and waiting for them to dry, Izabela, my lovely wife helped me to mount the poster to the canvas. We tried pins, which proved to be too long and flimsy for the wooden frame. We thought about sewing it on, but that just sounded like so much work. 

We ended up using thumbtacks which look fine and do the job nicely. Thank you, Iza!
